How do these types of thermocouples work?
A thermocouple is a temperature measuring device that uses the phenomenon of electrical thermo-conductivity to measure temperature. It consists of two wires of different materials welded together at one end. As the temperature of the soldered end increases, the difference between the two wires increases proportionally.
